Gungadins Restaurant boasts five separate dining areas built around a wine room that can be viewed from all three levels. Patrons can make their way down a small staircase and choose from 180 wines to the sound of our waterfall. The top level of Gungadins, accessible by a gentle ramp, is seven steps above the other areas creating a separate area for up to 70 people. The other rooms range from eight to twelve diners in privacy. For parties who would like to book the whole top floor of the restaurant (charges apply).
Our menu is a combination of our most successful dishes with a subtle infusion of Indian flavours and favourites. For large groups such as yours, we recommend one of our set menus attached, which are constructed, from our seasonal a la carte menu, to ensure a taste of the venue rather than function house fare. We have great faith in our function menu structure but should you have any special “favourites”, we are more than happy to accommodate these where possible. Special dietary requirements for individual guests can also be accommodated with prior notice.
Drinks can be on a:
- Consumption basis whereby the content and limit is determined by you for the entire group;
- Consumption basis per table where each table has an account and the guests at each table are responsible for their table account; (we can accommodate with basket and price lists on tables)
Should you be looking for a place for your group to “party on” afterwards the Rikki Tikki Tavi Bar is the perfect place. In the past we have found that large groups usually end up where the action is and the bar is open to 2am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
A deposit of $10.00 per person is required once a booking is made. Final numbers and full payment for food is required one week prior to your function date. This will be the minimum number charged for on the night.
